Monte Clark Gallery Toronto to become Clark & Faria

According to a recent press release from the Monte Clark Gallery (Distillery Historic District, 55 Mill Street, Bldg 2):

"Monte Clark and Daniel Faria are pleased to announce that on May 21, 2009 the Monte Clark Gallery, Toronto will become Clark & Faria. The event will be marked with the inaugural exhibition Clark & Faria Presents:. The group show will highlight some of the past achievements of the gallery and present new works from the existing stable and new artists added to the roster. The Vancouver gallery will remain as Monte Clark Gallery, with both locations representing the same artists and enjoying a very close relationship."

The Monte Clark Gallery has two locations, one in Vancouver and a more recent addition in Toronto, and features Vancouver-based artists such as Douglas Coupland, Scott McFarland, Evan Lee and Karin Buba

Daniel and I graduated from the same M.A. program in Art History at York University, though at different times. I interned at the Monte Clark Gallery a couple of years ago during my studies and we've remained friends. He is fabulous, stylish and has a keen eye for good art. My congratulations to him and the gallery!
